Empowering Youth in America’s Cities

G-Story

The G-Unity Foundation is all about empowering urban kids to develop the confidence, tools, and knowledge they need to excel at life.

Founded by Curtis Jackson (50 Cent), G-Unity supports the kind of programs that foster social and leadership skills in young people living in cities nationwide.

What is a G-Star?

It’s a program that’s making a real difference in young people’s lives. It’s enrichment through sports, teaching lifelong social and emotional skills. It’s learning entrepreneurship through activities and classes, which can set up young people with the know-how to take the lead on their lives. It’s bringing kids and knowledge together. This is Unity. Welcome to the team.

Inagural G-Star Houston ISD, Entrepreneurship

Beginning in the fall of 2021, three high schools will work with HISD educators, Houston business leaders, and the G-Unity Foundation to complete an after-school course that teaches MBA concepts aligned with Curtis Jackson’s book, Hustle Harder, Hustle Smarter. The goal of the program is to arm youth from urban areas with education and business acumen in the hopes they will be able to start their own companies or manage a company.
